Sarah, Ben Taylor, Stacey and Kristina. These four competitors set forth on a journey toward their destinies. The first challenge from the panel was to create one-person scenes. Though none were exceptional, all of the competitors prevailed. Sarah’s scene was about a homeless person being framed for a robbery. Ben told the story of a couple in need of a psychic to save their relationship. Stacey’s scene was about alphabetizing bridge builders. And Kristina ended the series of scenes with a young girl traumatized by her overbearing mother. The audience gave immunity to Stacey.

After Sarah confessed that she has never seen an Atlas Improv show, she, Ben Taylor and Kristina were challenged to improvise a musical scene. The three worked together in a nearly flawless scene, receiving a standing ovation from the panel. Still, one competitor had to be cut. The panel called on Stacey to help with the difficult decision. She was asked to grant immunity to one of the three competitors. With some deliberation she chose Kristina, leaving the choice between Ben Taylor and Sarah to the audience and to the panel. Panelists Brendon and Dave voted to cut Ben Taylor, while panelist Neil voted to cut Sarah. It was up to the audience. Astoundingly, the audience was split 28 to 28, negating their vote. Ben Taylor was cut.

Find out what new tests await these competitors this Saturday in The Cut.

In the latest installment of The Cut, the competitors were once again split into teams. Ben Taylor and Kristina verses Sarah, Ben Fox and Stacey. The panel, as an act of charity, allowed Ben Taylor and Kristina to choose an improviser from the other team to even out the numbers. This competitor would both help them in the first act and have no chance at immunity for the second. They chose Stacey.

The first challenge of the evening was to create a new game before the audience. With the suggestion of "roadkill," the teams crafted their different games. Sarah, Ben Fox and Stacey's game was to remove from the scene all objects that touched the ground, and to justify each removal. The game was made all the more difficult in a scene about a family who regularly puts glue on their ceiling. Next, Ben Taylor, Kristina and Stacey created a game in which they had to make new choices whenever the host said "roadkill." And with their fat circus scene, Ben Taylor and Kristina were both granted immunity.

Stacey, Ben Fox and Sarah were then challenged to create full and dynamic characters to be interviewed by the panel. Stacey began the challenge by forming a restaurant owner who hated women. Ben Fox then built a nerdy character that would rather read Shakespeare than the periodic table. And finally, Sarah fashioned an administrative assistant/failing actress with a passion for panzer tanks. After their exceptional performances, the audience and the panel voted for who should be cut. The audience, along with panelists Dave and Brendon, sent Ben Fox home.

In the previous weeks, competitors have been split into teams. This last week, however, they were challenged individually to tell true stories about themselves. After the audience voted for immunity, the panel revealed that four would be safe that night. Though neither Sarah nor Ricky received immunity, they were granted the power to build new teams for the second act. Ricky chose Ben Taylor and Christina. Sarah chose Stacey and Ben Fox. Both teams were then challenged to the game Silent Tension. And Ricky's encyclopedia scene was pitted against Sarah's story about dresses. Everything was on the line for these two competitors. Panelists Dave and Brendon agreed with the audience, and three votes were cast to cut Ricky.

Last week on The Cut, competitors were split into the same teams from the previous week. Challenged by the panel, both teams played the game Replay. Sarah, Ben Taylor, Kristina and Ricky replayed a formidable scene about boxes, though it was later tainted by the loss of its original structure. Ben Fox, Christin and Stacey were not as lucky. Their Replay was, as the panel described it, "manic" and "full of mistakes."

After the intermission and after Kristina revealed that she thinks she is more likely to win than the other competitors, Ben Taylor was granted immunity by the audience, which came with a seat on the panel. The remaining competitors were challenged to a series of two-person scenes. While many of them were entertaining, Ben critiqued that there was no reasoning for many of their situations. In the end, Ben Taylor voted to cut Ricky. However, the audience and the panel felt differently, and Christin was eliminated.

In the first week of The Cut, eight competitors tested their abilities to work together and work alone. The show began as the panel split the improvisers into Team One and Team Two, and both sets of improvisers played the game First-line Last-line. Afterwards, the audience awarded immunity to Team One, putting Ben Fox, Conrad, Christin and Stacey at risk during the second act.

These four competitors were challenged to one of the most difficult exercises known in the improv world: five characters. And without any outside inspiration, each amateur improviser created five diverse and dynamic characters. Despite all of the competitors rising to the challenge, one was eliminated. As voted by the audience and panelist Dave Heyman, Conrad was cut.
